26th Contest Theme:

"What We Can Do for Our Planet"

There are many simple things we can do to protect our beautiful planet —
like living in harmony with animals, growing trees and forests, or reducing waste.
Something you want to do, or your favourite scenery, would make a wonderful drawing too.
What matters most is your wish to care for the Earth.
Let your drawings bring that feeling to life, freely and in your own way.

What Can We Do for the Earth?

The Earth has nurtured many lives since long before we were born. Through countless relays of life, you are here today.

As a way of giving back to the Earth that has carried life this far, let's think about what you can do. So that one day, you too can pass the baton forward.

Living in Harmony with Animals

Ratnesh Pillai Age 10, Malaysia
Ratnesh Pillai Age 10, Malaysia

Humans are not the only creatures on this planet. There are many animals living close to us, like dogs, cats and birds. Something that is beneficial for humans could be harmful for animals. Let's think about what we can do to live harmoniously with animals.

Nurturing Trees and Forest

Mavanga Abigail Age 15, Ireland
Mavanga Abigail Age 15, Ireland

Are there any plants around your home or on your way to school? What plants in our everyday life have we been taking for granted? Some plants were planted by adults for the next generation; others took root on their own. They've come to life in various ways. What can we do to make sure they're still here tomorrow?

Reducing Waste

Myumyun Tuana Age 13, Bulgaria
Myumyun Tuana Age 13, Bulgaria

How can we reduce waste? It can start with small, everyday actions. Even something as simple as throwing away empty snack bags or juice cans properly helps protect the environment. Little by little, these small steps add up to something meaningful.

If You Were the Earth...

Garcia Hernandez Felipe de Jesus Age 14, Mexico
Garcia Hernandez Felipe de Jesus Age 14, Mexico

If you were the Earth, what would you want humans to do for you? Imagine yourself as the Earth-what would you want people to continue, and what would you want them to change? As one life among many on this planet, let's think sincerely about what the Earth and we need to thrive.

Greetings

Ishii Hiroaki

Since its establishment in 1957, the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) has served as one of Japan's leading third-party conformity assessment bodies, dedicated to supporting clients' environmental initiatives. In 1999, we began hosting the JQA International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest, which has since received over 370,000 entries from more than 100 countries and regions to date.

Throughout this long journey, we have remained deeply grateful for the generous support we have received from UNICEF staff members, Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers of JICA, embassies around the world, parents and schoolteachers, and our co-organizer, the International Certification Network (IQNET).

It is our sincere wish that through this contest, the children's passion for environmental conservation and their hopes for the future will transcend national borders and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Alexandru Stoichitoiu

It is my great pleasure to extend my heartfelt greetings on the occasion of the 26th JQA International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest. This contest has become a wonderful tradition that nurtures children's imagination while raising awareness of the global importance of environmental protection.

The drawings created by children reflect their sincere thoughts and hopes for a better future. They remind us that environmental awareness should begin at an early age and that we all share responsibility for passing on a healthy planet to the next generation.

I would like to express my deep appreciation to JQA for their continued dedication to this meaningful initiative. I sincerely hope the contest will further promote international understanding and inspire strong commitments to building a sustainable future together.
